"Self-professed" Co-Women's Champion Michelle McCool def. Tiffany in a Women's Championship Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In a match that was supposed to feature Women’s Champion Layla, Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero shook things up by having the “Self-professed” Co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool defend the title. With a hard-hitting Faithbreaker, Michelle stopped Tiffany cold. But just as things were looking peachy keen for Team Lay-Cool, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long threw a wrench in things.
Long made it crystal clear. “There’s only one Women’s Championship. And you two need to make up your mind who is going to wear the title. Because if you don’t decide, then next week, I will,” he said.

 Michelle McCool (with Layla) defeated Tiffany (with Kelly Kelly) to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Teddy Long said we only needed one Women’s champion, so Layla and McCool would have decide, which caused an argument

WWE RAW spoilers for August 2,2010

Due to world tours, WWE RAW team taped 2 episodes.For next week,Randy Orton will be featured.Highlight if you wish to view.

* Next week's show starts with the announcement that Randy Orton will face The Miz later tonight.

* Randy Orton invites Sheamus to ringside for his match against The Miz tonight.

* The Miz comes out and cuts a promo and tells Randy Orton his moment is after his match at SummerSlam. Orton comes out. The Miz vs. Randy Orton. WWE Champion Sheamus watches the match from the ramp. The Miz hits a lot of offense in the match but ends up getting hit with the RKO, allowing Orton to pickup the victory. After the match, Sheamus tries to get into the ring but Orton stares him down from viper position.

Dark Match Main Event:

* John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett & Sheamus. The match doesn't happen as Barrett says he doesn't want to do it. Barrett allows Sheamus to leave because of his truce. The Nexus hits the ring and takes out Cena and Orton. The Raw babyfaces run out and make the save to end the taping.

Randy Orton def. Jey Uso; The Miz attempted to cash in Money in the Bank contract (PHOTOS | WATCH)
For Jey Uso, facing and defeating Randy Orton would have propelled him near the top of the WWE totem pole. The Viper, however, wasn’t about to offer up his scalp so easily. Instead, Orton made convincing work of Uso as his brother Jimmy and Tamina looked on. After the victory, Orton dared WWE Champion Sheamus, who was also observing at ringside, to tangle with him.
Before the two could engage, Jimmy attacked Orton. Sensing an opportunity, the Irishman tried to kick his SummerSlam foe, but his errant boot ended up leveling Jimmy instead. At that point, The Viper deftly flattened The Celtic Warrior with an RKO.
The scent of vulnerability lured out United States Champion The Miz, who’s been bird-dogging Sheamus ever since capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase. Before Miz could cash in the briefcase, though, Orton slipped into the ring and also dropped Mr. Money in the Bank with an RKO.

Double, double, coil and trouble. When The Viper faced Edge and Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat Match for the chance to battle WWE Champ Sheamus at SummerSlam, he conjured a bit of in-ring magic. Not only did he prevail, he left both rivals flat thanks to huge back-to-back RKOs. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
