WWE Smackdown results [January 7,2011]

Here are the detailed results of this week's Smackdown. It's considered an early report since Smackdown is airing in some countries before airing it in the States.Digitals will be added tomorrow.

Kelly Kelly is walking backstage and Drew stops her. He tells her he knows she doesn't like who he is in the ring, but its all he has dreamed about. He says hes not asking her to trust him yet, but he wants her support in his match and he promises he will give to her in her match.

Michelle McCool vs Kelly Kelly
We are back with Layla & Michelle in the ring. Kelly's music hits and she gets a big pop. The bell rings and they lock up. Michelle pushes Kelly to the corner and starts kicking her multiple times in the gut. Kelly ends up kicking Michelle and climbs the rope. She hooks her leg around Michelle and lays back, strangling Michelle. Kelly falls onto the outside where Layla confronts her and starts yelling at her, so Kelly pushes Layla. Kelly goes back in the ring and is kicked in the knee. Michelle starts working Kelly's knee. She wraps her knee around the rope and starts pulling with Kelly screaming in pain. Kelly uses her other leg to help defend herself and kicks Michelle. Kelly gets a head scissors onto Michelle and as things look good for her, she falls victim to the faith breaker right after the headscissors. Michelle pins and gets the 3 count.

Winner - Michelle McCool

After the match, Michelle & Layla attack Kelly. They slam her face into the mat and Drew comes out to the ring. He tells them that they need to go and Laycool look frightened.

Possible happenings for Randy Orton and Kelly Kelly this 2011

Happy New Year visitors!I am going to analyze the current storylines that they are in and what are the possible events that will happen to them this 2011.

Randy Orton:
He is currently feuding with The Miz for the title. He won a Triple Threat Steel cage match to be the No.1 Contender for the WWE Championship. His match with The Miz is now official and will happen at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.There's always the possibility of Randy winning the title but it seems that WWE will let Miz have a decent run.If that happens he can go feud with other stars and put them over.

Kelly Kelly:
She still has her room for improvement in the wrestling department. There's also the chance that she will be one of the possible contenders for the Divas championship. But the storyline that she is in is the thing with Drew McIntyre.Us fans know that they are with Justin Gabriel and Tiffany.Better read the latest spoilers for this week's Smackdown if you want to know what is Kelly up to.As the storyline progresses,it will continue and she might be Drew's valet sometime in the future. There's also the possibility that Big Show (Kelly's BFF onscreen and real life) will be involved once his feud with Cody ends.(i.e,Drew turns on Kelly).

So there you have it!What are your thoughts?  Make sure to sound it off in the chatbox or tweet me at the site's twitter account.

Interesting Cena-Orton stat

Here's an interesting stat. John Cena and/or Randy Orton have been in a WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title match at every WWE pay-per-view for over two years now. The last show that didn't have either of them in a top title match was WWE's Cyber Sunday 2008 where the main events were Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title and Chris Jericho vs. Batista for the World Title.

WWE Royal Rumble 2011 preview

He cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on a vulnerable Randy Orton to capture the WWE Championship. He successfully (and controversially) bent the rules in a Tables Match with The Viper to leave WWE TLC with the coveted title. But The Miz will be hard-pressed to hold on to the grandest prize in sports-entertainment when he goes one-on-one with a vengeful Orton once again at the Royal Rumble.
Orton earned the right to challenge the most “most-see” WWE Champion in history by defeating both King Sheamus and former Nexus mastermind Wade Barrett in an explosive Steel Cage Match on the first Raw of 2011. As the New Year unfolds, Orton has only one resolution on his mind: To silence “The Cleveland Screamer” and earn his seventh WWE Championship in the process.
On the very same night Orton became No. 1 contender to the WWE Title, The Miz kicked off 2011 with a brutal bout against his former titleholding tag team partner John Morrison, fueling his boasts with a significant victory over The Monday Night Delight. The Miz was on top of the world following the first match of 2011, but he also remains at the top of the menu for WWE’s Apex Predator. At the Royal Rumble, live from Boston, Orton’s fangs will be sharper than ever.
Will The Era of Awesome extend well through this New Year and into 2012, as The Miz has so often proclaimed? Or will The Viper attain the retribution he has craved since The Awesome One’s devious Money in the Bank-assisted victory? To find out, tune in to the Royal Rumble, Jan. 31, live on pay-per-view.

Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett and King Sheamus in a No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Steel Cage Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Wade Barrett lie on the canvas as still as a guard at Buckingham Palace. Just moments earlier, the incapacitated Englishman appeared well on his way to victory over King Sheamus and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title.
As he prepared to climb over the steel structure, however, his Nexus nemesis CM Punk offered to assist him. As Barrett took his hand, the Straight Edge Superstar ripped the Nexus armband from the Englishman and booted him down to the canvas. There, The Celtic Warrior greeted him with a Brogue Kick. Orton then leveled Sheamus with an RKO and slithered past his opponents and through the cage door to victory. As a result, Barrett will be forever banished from The Nexus while The Viper will face WWE Champion The Miz in a title match at Royal Rumble in four weeks.

WWE Smackdown results [December 31,2010]

Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long welcomes everyone to his New Year’s celebration and asks the SmackDown Superstars to give their New Year’s Resolutions! Drew McIntyre would step up to the microphone first as McIntyre proclaims that, in 2011, he will be a “champion” before glancing over at Kelly Kelly and stating that he will also become a “better person”! An apparently intoxicated Chavo Guerrero then gets on the mic and states that it might be the champagne talking, but the SmackDown Superstars & Divas are nothing but “ignorant, self-centered jerks” and Theodore Long would step in and inform Chavo that he is drinking “non-alcoholic champagne” before Chavo turns to see the angry glares of the SmackDown locker room!
