WWE RAW results [August 30,2010]

Divas Champion Melina & Eve def. “Co-Women’s Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool; Championship Unification Lumberjack Match arranged for Night of Champions (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Oh, it is so on! After weeks of self-professed “Co-Women’s Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool taunting Divas Champion Melina, it’s time to put up or shut up. After Melina and her partner, Eve, defeated Lay-Cool in a Divas Tag Team Match, the real-life “mean girls” made Melina an offer she couldn’t refuse: One of them will face her at Night of Champions, and the winner will unify the Divas and Women’s Championships.

The lovely Latina agreed – on one condition. To ensure the match would be clean, she insisted that all of her fellow Divas be allowed to surround the ring in a Lumberjack Match. Reluctantly, Lay-Cool agreed before storming off in a high school huff.

The Nexus def. WWE Champion Sheamus, John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho & Randy Orton in a 5-on-5 Tag Team Elimination Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Timing really is everything. At the conclusion of the night’s main event, The Nexus’ leader Wade Barrett proved that as he stood as proud and tall as London’s Big Ben.

Earlier in the evening, the Englishman was in the right place at the right time as he punished The Undertaker with a devastating slam to the canvas. At night’s end, he – along with his Nexus cohorts – emerged victorious in a 5-on-5 Tag Team Elimination Match against WWE Champion Sheamus, John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho & Randy Orton.

Almost immediately, Jericho and Edge ditched their team. At a distinct disadvantage, The Celtic Warrior finally relented and was pinned by Heath Slater. Next up, Cena found himself in trouble against the overwhelming odds and eventually succumbed to the 450° Splash of Justin Gabriel.
Barrett’s fortuitous evening concluded, though, when Orton faced a 3-on-1 scenario. Although Orton has proven a staunch and worthy adversary of The Nexus and managed to eliminate Gabriel and Michael Tarver, he nonetheless was unable to overcome Barrett’s offense in a gutting defeat.
Owing to their mutual distrust of one another, the team of former world champions appeared to implode from lack of teamwork. Not surprising, perhaps, given the fact that they will be competing for the WWE Title at Night of Champions in three weeks. In the opening salvo for the coveted title, however, it appears Barrett has fired off one jolly good shot.

More details on Randy Orton's injury

Randy Orton was dealing with a sore neck and shoulder following last night's Raw live event in Wildwood, New Jersey, where he faced Sheamus in a Lumberjack Match with Nexus. He was therefore placed in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at today's Raw live event in Newark, New Jersey so he could have a lighter workload.

The advertised main event was a Steel Cage Match between Orton and Sheamus, while John Cena wasscheduled for a Six-Man Tag Team Match against Nexus. An angle was conducted at the beginning of the show where Sheamus attacked Cena and Nexus attacked Chris Jericho, leading Orton and Daniel Bryan to perform a run-in.

Orton sparingly wrestled during the match and did not perform the RKO. He did, however, strike Michael Tarver with a punt to the head in the aftermath of the bout.

Orton's injury is not immediately being considered serious, but he will likely have it checked out tomorrow.

Randy Orton injured

Randy Orton was pulled out of a planned cage match with Sheamus tonight in Newark, NJ due to a stiff neck. He worked an angle with John Cena where Cena fought Sheamus and Orton was put in a six-man tag, allowing him to protect his neck. He'll be at RAW this week.

It's Sheamus versus the Viper this Saturday

Late post,but here it is:

With his failed bout with Sheamus in Los Angeles still smarting, Randy Orton (The Viper) will probably be determined to take a bite of the reigning World Wrestling Entertainment champion, Sheamus.

In a special one-night-only Raw World Tour stop at 8 PM on Saturday in the Oceanfront Arena, Wildwoods Convention Center in New Jersey the grudge match begins.

Hell bent on revenge for a knockout after the match, Sheamus, the man so pale skinned he glows, will show the world the meaning of his fiery red-headed Irish temper, and says if he's smart Orton might as well not even show up to Wildwood.

The Ginger Glow Man says he'll be using his signature moves - the crucifix bomb and Irish curse - to keep Orton from stealing the championship.

'I'll probably get to use 'em all on Orton, poor fella. He'll be lying in a bucket of ice afterward.'

Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 272 pounds, the strikingly tall Irishman has come to dominate the WWE after making his debut a little over a year ago.

'It's been brilliant!' Sheamus says of his success. 'It was a childhood dream of mine. 'Course, I'm not very popular for doing that. Gingers aren't very popular, anyway. It's all jealousy.'

Then the Irish superstar gives a hearty laugh at this thought. You can tell he's really having fun. 'There's never been a WWE superstar like me. I'm vicious. I'm aggressive," Sheamus says. 'I want to put that ol' guy out to pasture once and for all.'

Sheamus defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship.

Biggest pop:
1) John Cena
2) Randy Orton/Rey Mysterio

RAW house show results-Honolulu,Hawaii [August 18,2010]

Randy Orton defeated Sheamus by disqualification. Orton was over big time in Honolulu and both men put on a solid hard hitting match. Orton was setting up for the RKO when Sheamus shoved the referee causing the DQ. An irate Orton hit an RKO on Sheamus anyway laying out the champ.

The Miz then ran down and attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but was nailed with an RKO before anything could happen.

John Cena defeated Wade Barrett. Prior to the start of the match, the mystery GM changed the Main Event into a No Disqualification bout. Both men put on a solid match with a steel chair and the ring steps coming into play.

After Cena hit Barrett with the Attitude Adjustment, David Otunga ran down to break up the pin. Barrett held Cena but Otunga ended up nailing his Nexus leader instead. Randy Orton then slid into the ring and hit an RKO on Otunga. Meanwhile Cena forced Barrett to tap out with the STF.

Following the match, Orton and Cena shook hands and celebrated in the ring. After Orton left, Cena made his way around ringside shaking hands and signed a few autographs. My friends and I were sitting ringside for the first time ever and one of my friends who happens to be a big time Cena mark, got to shake his hand and went nuts.

WWE Night of Champions 2010 preview

At one of WWE’s most prestigious pay-per-views, Night of Champions, Sheamus must defend his coveted WWE Title in a Six Pack Challenge against five of Raw’s top Superstars: John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, Chris Jericho and Nexus leader Wade Barrett.
The rules of a Six Pack Challenge are simple: A sextet of Superstars faces off in the ring, with victory determined by a single pinfall or submission. This means that Sheamus does not need to be pinned or submit to lose the WWE Title in this match.
After successfully retaining his title at SummerSlam (though Randy Orton won via disqualification), The Celtic Warrior has more than once felt the venomous wrath of The Viper. In response to this continued brutality, a frustrated Sheamus addressed the WWE Universe on Raw, urging the anonymous General Manager to deny Orton a rematch as punishment for WWE’s Apex Predator’s animalistic aggression.
Agreeing that Sheamus deserves more respect than he’s been receiving – both from Orton and from the WWE Universe – the GM let the irritable Irishman sit atop a throne for the evening to survey a series of matches. At the end of the night, he would hand-pick his Night of Champions opponent.
Sheamus tried to take advantage of the GM’s generosity, ultimately deciding to take a month-long respite from competition. However, the devious Dubliner was immediately met with a surprise announcement from the anonymous head of Raw: At Night of Champions, Sheamus will defend his title in a high-jeopardy Six Pack Challenge against four deserving former World Champions – Cena, Orton, Edge and Jericho – as well as Barrett, now allowed to pursue the WWE Championship after the Raw GM lifted The Nexus’ title match ban. Now that the season one NXT winner is in the hunt for his first WWE Title, the truce between The Nexus and The Celtic Warrior is officially over. (PHOTOS)
Can the cantankerous Celt cling to the WWE Title once again? Or will another Superstar knock Sheamus off his throne? To find out, tune in to Night of Champions, September 19, only on pay-per-view.

WWE Champion Sheamus def. Zack Ryder; Raw’s General Manager announced Six Pack Challenge at Night of Champions (PHOTOS | WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2)
The Celtic “Worrier?” Perhaps WWE Champion Sheamus was too concerned about facing one of WWE’s elite Superstars or maybe he’s got a soft spot for Long Island. Whatever the reason, the Irishman chose to defend his title against Zack Ryder, not on pay-per-view, but on Raw.
A grateful Ryder thanked Sheamus for the opportunity before having his face kicked in and getting pinned inside of a mere 11 seconds. Woo, Woo, Woo. You know it!
After the match, there were several understandably irate Superstars, including Wade Barrett. The leader of The Nexus informed The Celtic Warrior that at Night of Champions, he would invoke the title opportunity he earned after winning season one of WWE NXT. Before the rivalry between England and Ireland could escalate, the Raw General Manager had a few points to make.
Sheamus would indeed defend his title against Barrett, the GM assured. However, he would also defend against four other Superstars in a Six Pack Challenge. Rounding out the field, the GM chose Chris Jericho,Randy Orton, Edge and John Cena. As each man stood wearily in the ring, the mistrust proved overwhelming and the six set out attacking one another, leaving only The Viper to stand tall after an emphatic RKO to Cena. The tension between the sextet assures that Night of Champions is also sure to be a night to remember.
Randy Orton def. Ted DiBiase and John Morrison in a Triple Threat Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
That throne must really be comfy. After all, WWE Champion Sheamus, who has a penchant for involving himself where he doesn’t belong, actually stayed out of the Triple Threat Match between Randy Orton, John Morrison and Ted DiBiase.
The triumvirate of Superstars competed for the potential opportunity to be chosen by the Irishman to battle him in a title match at Night of Champions. During the bout, Sheamus actually exited to deliberate before announcing who he would face in four weeks. When the carnage was complete, it was The Viper who had snaked past his competition to secure the win.

Details on the Justin Gabriel-Kelly Kelly dating rumors

Regarding rumors of Justin Gabriel dating a female worker, the rumor is that he and WWE Diva Kelly Kelly are an item. It's worth noting that WWE.com's bio on Gabriel bills the Nexus member as a cross between American Idol season 9 contestant Adam Lambert, who is a homosexual, and MLB player Johnny Damon. John Cena alluded to Gabriel's sexuality on Monday's RAW by saying the Nexus member has an "alternative way of thinking."

Justin Gabriel def. Randy Orton by Count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The Nexus’ South African cyclone, Justin Gabriel, was scheduled to compete against Bret Hart, but Raw’s mystery GM had other ideas. Citing his animosity toward “Hit Man,” the GM instead arranged for a new opponent, Randy Orton.
The Viper appeared to have Gabriel securely wrapped in his grip when WWE Champion Sheamus paid an unannounced visit. The Celtic Warrior, who had lost by disqualification to Orton the night before, clashed outside the ring with his SummerSlam rival, handing Gabriel the win by count-out. As one might imagine, the loss did not sit well with Orton, who slithered back into the ring to RKO Gabriel. Outside the squared circle, Orton proved just as unrelenting in his counterattack on the Irishman, who also received an RKO as well as several lashes from a metal folding chair.

* Sheamus is ready to pick his opponent for a title defense tonight. He picks Zack Ryder. Sheamus hits Ryder with one move, the kck to the face and wins. Sheamus says he's taking a month off now. Wade Barrett comes out and wants to take advantage of his title shot from winning NXT. The GM has an announcement and it's that the WWE Title will be defended in a six pack challenge with Sheamus vs. Barrett vs. Orton vs. Cena vs. Edge vs. Jericho. WWE Summerslam 2010 results [August 15,2010]

Randy Orton def. Sheamus by Disqualification

LOS ANGELES – WWE Champion Sheamus will be the first to admit that his ruthless in-ring style and tendency to bend the rules have catapulted the irritable Irishman to great heights in WWE, earning him two WWE Title reigns in under a year. That relentless attitude helped The Celtic Warrior retain the WWE Title against Randy Orton at SummerSlam, clinging to his beloved championship after attacking the match official and getting disqualified. However, Sheamus could hardly escape Orton’s clutches after the match when he found himself at the receiving end of a venomous RKO onto the announce table. (PHOTOS)
Targeting Orton’s right arm, Sheamus used his weight advantage and notoriously hammer-like offense to weaken his opponent early in the match, enjoying the brutality all the while. But serpents are most dangerous when they’re wounded, and The Viper soon sank his fangs into the pale-skinned pugilist, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. But after Orton kicked out of Sheamus’ punishing Brogue Kick, a frustrated Sheamus went outside the ring for a steel chair. A WWE official tried to pry the weapon from The Celtic Warrior's grasp, but was shoved off the ring apron and onto the ground in return, resulting in a disqualification.
Although Sheamus and Orton have faced off in the past – most notably at the 2010 Royal Rumble, where The Celtic Warrior successfully retained the WWE Title – their rivalry has intensified over the past several weeks after WWE’s Apex Predator defeated Edge and Chris Jericho on Raw to become the No. 1 Contender to the WWE Title. Since then, The Viper has been on the hunt for his Seventh World Title, but the first-ever Irish-born WWE Champion has affirmed to the WWE Universe that he’s never been afraid of snakes.
Knowing Sheamus’ history of stealing victories due to outside interference, Raw’s anonymous General Manager proclaimed that any Superstar interfering in this bout would be suspended indefinitely. The GM also announced that if Orton could not defeat Sheamus at SummerSlam, he would get no rematch and would go to the back of the line. When Sheamus’ disqualification destroyed Orton’s chances of attaining the WWE Title at SummerSlam – or anytime soon, for that matter – The Viper went berserk, leveling the technically-victorious Sheamus with a post-match RKO.
Even though Sheamus seems to have taken Orton out of the running for his WWE Championship, the WWE Universe can expect the animosity between these two Superstars to continue Monday nights on Raw.

Shawn Michaels mentions Randy Orton

Michaels on the three wrestlers who excite him most from today’s generation: “For me, number one, Randy Orton. Randy is as talented as the day is long. One of the things he and I have in common, there’s a deepness to him to where he almost takes the job to seriously, and I did the same thing. And I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It can get you into trouble, sure, but once you get a handle on it, like I think he has, the sky is the limit.”

Big Show mentions Randy Orton

Who has impressed him: Without a doubt, Miz. I've seen Miz grow over the years. I'm really impressed with Miz. Sheamus is another one I'm really impressed with very physical, very intense. I like Sheamus a lot for our future. Drew McIntyre. I like watching Drew. I like Drew's interviews. He's very good on the microphone. He's a real good in-ring performer. Of course, Randy Orton is probably one of the smoothest guys I've ever seen in the ring. He's velvety smooth to watch in the ring. Randy is so good. He's leaps and bounds better than people... Randy is going to be one of the best superstars of all-time if his career continues to evolve the way it's evolving. Randy Orton has the potential to be that good. Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, Dolph (Ziggler) ... a lot of guys there that are up and coming and really have a bright future. Some of the NXT guys could do good things one day. We'll see. When they decide to get smart and break out on their own and try to create their own achievements. The future does look very, very bright for the WWE. As far as new, dominant, big guy giants walking in, I think my job is pretty safe right now. I don't think I've got any competition to worry about right now. So we'll see.

Randy Orton Speaks - WWE PG, Travel, Heel, & More

In a recent interview with MSN TV, Randy Orton discussed travel, WWE PG, the RKO and more. Some highlights:
On WWE's travel schedule: It's hard. Any of us with family, it's hard to be away so much. But the toughest part of travel is that it's harder on your body than performing in the ring. Renting cars, driving 1,000 miles a week -- which is what we average -- the airports, which is five or six times a week ... it's tough. If you have a couple of good books and a computer, you can get through it. But with us taking all of the falls we do in the ring and landing on our back, dozens of times a night, all year round, and then sitting in a rental car or an airplane after a show, that is really the hardest part. You aren't really able to wind down and get flat. There is no time to recover. The most important things when taking care of yourself, if you're a body-builder or anybody in fitness, is diet, training and recovery. We have the diet down. We can make do with McDonald's all day and figure out what's healthy and get by. We all get to the gym. But we can't recover, so we're missing one of the key elements to keep your body in tip-top condition, and that is why we get hurt.
On being a heel: I am one of those guys, too, like Edge and Hunter, who wanted to be a heel forever. In my mind, as far as how I act, I still am and always will be. It doesn't matter whether I am heel or babyface, I'll still be the same character ... unless they put a mask on me [Laughs]. I've kind of worked myself into a corner, but I see it as a good thing. I got lucky. I am myself, I am Randy Orton. The only downfall is people see me on the street and think I'm a prick. [Laughs]. I'm not! I swear! For some reason, I'm able to come across as screwed-up in the head. It's turned out to be what I'm good at. But as a babyface, I'm still that same guy. It's weird to even say that, because I don't even feel like a babyface.
On how much input wrestlers have in storylines: Well, it's no secret that we have writers. Those writers have to get with us, and they want feedback. Anything that we come up with, they will twist it so it comes off as their original idea, just like any good writer would want to do. From A-Z, as far a story goes, you can say whatever you want, any ideas you have. You can help as much or as little as you want. Whether or not they respond or it goes the way you want it to go, that's not up to you at all.
On WWE PG: At first, I wasn't very happy with the idea. I had just gotten used to that style and the way the story lines were going. But now being a father and keeping an eye on what is on the television, I can totally understand that it's better for business and better for our fans, too. We have a lot of young viewers, and it's better all across the board to be PG. There are going to be some people, some older fans, that are upset with that. Well, they can go somewhere else and get their blood. They can watch a 60-year-old man bleed all over each other, if they want. That's fine. We'll be displaying other things on our show. You don't need to bleed on somebody to have a good match. We've proven that.
On where he came up with the RKO: Well, if you ask Diamond Dallas Page that, he'd say I called him for permission and he granted me permission to use that. Because, you know, you got to ask "permission" from old-timers before you use their move, for Christ's sakes. Anyway, that's not what happened ... I wanted a move that I could hit anybody with, no matter how short, how tall, how fat, whatever. I can hit the Big Show with the RKO. I can hit Rey Mysterio with the RKO. John Laurinaitis, Johnny Ace, used to use the Ace Crusher, which was pretty much the Diamond Cutter, which is where DDP got it. So Johnny Ace is pretty much my boss, besides Vince, and he was helping me out six or seven years ago. He said, "Hell, Randy, why don't you just use the Ace Crusher?" I said, "What in the hell is that?" And I started playing with it. It's a variation of a cutter, but I think the key is I can do it to everybody. With the injuries I had sustained so early in my career, this didn't involve power-bombing a guy after a 30-minute match, you know, having to get a 300-pound guy up on my shoulders. I just jump up, grab his neck and fall. The only time it sucks is when I have to do it on the concrete or the steel grate. That's not a lot of fun.

Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Accompanied by NXT season two Rookie,Kaval and her “bestie,” Layla, the self-professed co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool arrogantly strutted to the ring to take on the always spunky Kelly Kelly. But while she is usually the assailant, the Team Lay-Cool beauty found herself on the receiving end of a vicious attack from Kelly tonight. Pounding Michelle’s perfect face into the mat, the perky blonde showed off an aggressive side the WWE Universe has rarely seen. Kelly’s rage may have gotten the best of her, however, as McCool was able to reverse an attempted victory roll and nail a brutal Faith Breaker to claim the win.

Kelly Kelly is ready to prove she's a force to be reckoned with. With Tiffany in her corner, will she prove to be too much for self-proclaimed "co-Women's Champion" Michelle McCool to handle, even with her "Flawless" counterpart, Layla, on her side?

Randy Orton appeared on Lopez Tonight

Appearing on TBS's "Lopez Tonight" show for a rare TV interview, WWE wrestler Randy Orton presented a completely different side of his personality than his customary "viper" TV character.

During his guest appearance tonight, Orton acknowledged he was a "hated villain" for six years on WWE TV and recently turned babyface. "I'm not used to this," he said. The reactions from the studio audience captured the WWE audience turning him babyface - males cheering their "Stone Cold" Steve Austin of this generation and women cheering him with his cool demeanor and relatable character.

Considering Orton's rare TV interview appearances, most WWE fans wouldn't have recognized Orton out-of-character in a sharp suit, smiling for the crowd, and having outbursts of laughter sharing stories on his WWE career and family life.

At the beginning of the interview segment, Orton strolled onto the set slapping hands with the studio audience while flashing his CEO-quality suit. Orton commanded the stage and received a strong babyface pop before beginning the back-and-forth interview discussion.

Comedian George Lopez, the host of the show and noted wrestling fan, introduced Orton as the youngest WWE champion at 24-years-old and said Orton will be challenging Sheamus for the WWE Title at Summerslam.

Orton and Lopez saved the discussion on Sheamus for late in the interview giving the final hard sell for Summerslam on Sunday. Orton talked up Sheamus as being a "big ol' boy" who is new to the business. He got a pop from the studio audience for doing a brief wrestler promo, with a grin, saying: "That doesn't mean I'm afraid of him."

During the back-and-forth, Orton talked about growing up in the business being a third-generation wrestler. He talked about his family being part of the WWWF, then WWF, and now he's in WWE.

They showed a picture of Orton's dad, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, posing. Orton also name-dropped Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Roddy Piper, and Paul Orndorff as wrestlers who used to come by his dad's house. This was followed by a picture of Andre holding a two-and-a-half-year-old Orton, which humanized Orton to continue making him relatable to the females in the crowd.

Orton then talked about his wife and small daughter watching him on Raw every Monday night if he's on the show early-enough. He shared a story that he's fourth in line behind Big Show, Sheamus, and John Cena with his daughter.

Orton said his daughter calls Cena "naked baby," even though Cena wears jean shorts and he wears the closest thing to a diaper, referring to him wrestling in athletic wrestling gear.

"John Cena, she calls naked baby, she calls herself naked baby, why can't I be naked baby?!" Orton said with a smile.

Orton and Lopez wrapped up the discussion, with Lopez giving a final plug for Summerslam in Los Angeles or on PPV on Sunday.

Prior to Orton's segment, R-Truth continued the "WWE Karaoke Week" contest. Truth ditched his customary WWE TV rap in favor of a rough version of Three Doors Down's "Kryptonite" song. He took a page from Dolph Ziggler's playbook on last night's show flashing his mid-section to the audience to get a pop.

David Otunga is next in the Karaoke contest tomorrow, then U.S. champion The Miz rounds out the field on Thursday. The contest voting is available on LopezTonight.com.

Kelly will be on this week's Superstars.Highlight if you wish to view.

Michelle McCool came out with Women's champion Layla and Kaval. This was followed by Kelly Kelly coming out to face McCool sans Tiffany.

(2) Michelle McCool beat Kelly Kelly with the Faith Breaker (Styles Clash). On a side note, Lay-Cool's belt that was cut in half looked plastic, as if it were a $15 replica from the WWE store. It looked lame, in my opinion.

WWE Champion Sheamus scuffled with Randy Orton(PHOTOS | WATCH)
In six days, the question will be answered. For now, though, the WWE Universe is wondering: Who will hold the WWE Title after SummerSlam? The latest evidence to ponder came when current champion Sheamus called out his SummerSlam opponent Randy Orton. As the two fierce competitors jawed back and forth, the anonymous Raw General Manager intervened via email. Through his spokesman, announcer Michael Cole, the GM stipulated that were any Superstar to interfere in the match, they would be suspended indefinitely. The GM also encouraged the Irishman to retaliate against The Viper’s claim that he’s scared of him.
A melee ensued between the two, and when the dust had settled, it was Orton who had bested his rival. Although The Viper could have punted Sheamus in the skull, he uncharacteristically stopped short and instead, he actually handed the WWE Championship to the dazed Irishman.

Randy Orton to appear on Lopez Tonight

Starting Tuesday night, WWE joins the party on TBS’ hit late-night show, Lopez Tonight, with host and critically acclaimed comedian George Lopez.
Two weeks’ worth of festivities begin on Lopez’ show Tuesday, when several WWE Superstars take part in a “Get to Know Your Favorite WWE Superstar” segment, personally answering questions that may well live up to the segment title. Furthermore, as the WWE Universe gets to know the Superstars like never before, contestants on Lopez Tonight will win money based on how they predict the Superstars will answer certain questions.
The party doesn’t end there. Although the WWE Universe is painfully aware of the singing abilities of WWE Diva Jillian Hall, starting next Tuesday, August 10, and continuing throughout the week, singing neophytes Dolph Ziggler,The Miz, David Otunga, and the rapping Superstar R-Truth join Lopez for individual karaoke sessions that will undoubtedly need to be heard to be believed.
Although he won’t slither his way toward the karaoke mic, The Viper, Randy Orton, will be a sit-down guest with Lopez on the evening of Tuesday, August 10. While there, Orton will discuss his career and his upcoming WWE Title Match against the champion, Sheamus, at SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view Sunday, August 15, at 8ET/5PT.
WWE Universe, don’t miss the party as WWE takes over Lopez Tonight, airing weeknights at 11/10 CT on TBS.

Randy Orton displeased with Miz segment

Randy Orton was said to be upset with his segment on Raw with the Miz, because he thought it appeared obvious that Miz was about to take the RKO.
Orton is often vocal backstage, but because of his position he's not seen in a negative light for being so. 9 times out of 10 his comments are for the betterment of the product, although the Mr. Kennedy situation might be debatable.

Randy/Kat Von D news

Randy Orton posted a message on Twitter last night saying that he may be appearing on an upcoming episode of the TLC reality TV show "LA Ink". It's likely he'll get a tattoo from Ms. Kat Von D.

Randy Orton def. United States Champion The Miz in a Non-Title Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Randy Orton ruined everything – at least according to The Miz. The United States Champion complained before their match that he would also hold the WWE Title, if not for that meddling Viper, who RKO’d him last week before he could cash in his Money in the Bank contract on a dazed WWE Champion Sheamus.
During their bout, with The Celtic Warrior scouting from ringside, Miz offered a convincing case for himself to reign as WWE Champion. However, it was The Viper who would eventually outmaneuver Mr. Money in the Bank to score yet another victory on the path to his WWE Title Match at SummerSlam.

After his win, Orton appeared confident – perhaps overly so. He even dared Sheamus to enter the ring with him, but the Irishman begged off, possibly still smarting from an RKO he received after gunning for his cold-blooded adversary the previous week. Or perhaps the Irishman is simply biding his time until he can skin the snake once and for all.
